A Hunter is anyone who hunts for Metrons. In the world of Blustone, they are essential in the continued survival of Midgard and are rewarded greatly for their efforts. Many go so far as to risk their own lives ascending the mountain, as resources continue to grow scarce.

Hunters receive assistance from the Hunter Union in form of fuel and ornithopter usage but do not appear to be licensed or regulated by any organizational or governmental body.

At present, there are 30 unique Hunters available for recruitment.

Origin[edit]

The concept of a Hunter first began with Lantern, who first discovered Judecca. He is given the title of First Ever Hunter.

Roles[edit]

A Hunter may fulfill one of four roles: Offense, Defense, Bomber or Support.

Keeping a balance of roles within a team is important to a successful cruise, however having more than one of the same role may be advantageous in some situations, such as when competing in the Fight Club.

Offense[edit]

The Offense is an on field unit, and has the highest attack of the four roles. They specialise in dealing damage to enemies and attack speed. Offense units are often used in the attacking team in Fight Club.

Their active skill, which damages the enemy while raising their attack or dealing damage over time, can only be used while on the field. All Offense hunters have Instinctive Attack, which increases their attack, as their third skill.

Lapis, Sylvester, Balian, Rebecca, Mowgli, Scar, Karl Steiner, Hermes, Octavia and Vincent are Hunters with an Offense role.

Defense[edit]

The Defense is an on field unit, and has the highest defense and health, as well as the lowest damage of the four roles. They specialise in enemy debuffs and survival on the field. Defense are often used to buy time for their Offense teammate to recover, or to stall while a Bomber attacks. Defense units are often used in the defending team in Fight Club.

Their active skill, which damages the enemy while raising their own defense or debuffing the enemy's, can only be used while on the field. All Defense hunters have Iron Fortress, which increases their defense, as their third skill.

Captain, Nene, Hecate, Robin, Gerard, Riko, Athena and Kain are Hunters with a Defense role.

Bomber[edit]

The Bomber is a mostly ornithopter unit. They specialise in dealing damage to enemies, enemy debuffs, and the raising of team attacking power. Bomber units are often used in the attacking team in Fight Club to buff the team's core Offense unit.

Their active skill deals the highest damage amongst the skills of the four roles — dealing damage and following up with a debuff — and can only be used while on the ornithopter. All Bomber hunters have Supporting Gunman, which increases team attack, as their third skill.

Metis, Locke, Sienna, Levi, Teddy Bomber, Patrone, Lantern, and Diana are Hunters with a Bomber role.

Support[edit]

The Support is a mostly ornithopter unit. They specialise in healing and the raising of survival of the team by increasing their health, defense and elemental resistance. Support units are often used in the defending team in Fight Club to buff the Defense units in the team.

Their active skill, which heals either the field teammate or all teammates and follows up with a buff, can only be used while on the ornithopter. All Bomber hunters have Public Health, which increases the maximum health of the team, as their third skill.

Tyltyl, Bruce Bang, Denali, Acerola and Akasha are Hunters with a Support role.

Element Type[edit]

All hunters will have one of the three element types affinity: ElecIcon.png Electricity, FireIcon.png Fire or IceIcon.png Ice.

Using a unit with elemental advantage will cause them to deal more damage. Conversely, a unit with a type disadvantage will receive more damage.
